What do I need to get started?

Just a computer or tablet with a web browser — Folded runs in the browser, there’s nothing to install. For printing you’ll want a thermal receipt printer and a label printer for garment tags, plus a barcode scanner for the workshop. We’ll help you choose and set them up.

What happens when my internet drops?

The counter keeps working. Walk-in orders and cash payments are saved on the device, and the moment you’re back online everything syncs on its own. It’s built so a power cut or patchy Wi-Fi never stops you taking money.

Does it handle GST?

Yes. Prices carry the correct tax with CGST/SGST splits, you can raise proper GST tax invoices with your shop’s own numbering, and Folded gives you GST return summaries you can file from. No separate spreadsheet.

How do my customers pay?

At the counter, take cash, card or UPI — whatever they prefer. Online card/UPI checkout through your own Razorpay or Cashfree account is on the way; when it lands, the money goes straight to your account, never through us.

Can I run more than one shop from one account?

Yes. One account, as many stores as you like — each with its own services, team and counter. Managers can be limited to specific stores; owners see everything in one place.

Is my data safe, and is it mine?

Every shop’s data is walled off from every other, enforced at the database itself — not just hidden in the app. You can export your customers, orders and reports any time, and if you ever leave Folded, you leave clean.

Is there a long contract?

No. You pay month to month and can cancel any time. Everything is included in the one plan — no tiers and no surprise add-on charges.

Do you have a phone app?
